Downloads

You download our software (the TP Control Panel for MetaTrader 5 and the TP Keys browser extension) through our download service at trading-precision.com/apps/tp/download. To check that your order includes the download, it uses your order number and the email you ordered with, or your customer account if you are logged in, and looks the order up in our Shopify store.

The service runs on Cloudflare. For troubleshooting, it logs each attempt: the file, the order number or account ID, and the result. It does not log your email address, and these logs are deleted automatically after at most 7 days.

The files are stored on GitHub, and your browser downloads them from GitHub through a short-lived link.

The download window on our setup page and in the TP Keys guide sends the same check to the download service. It remembers your order number and email in that browser tab, so a second download doesn't ask again, and forgets them when you close the tab.

TP Keys browser extension

TP Keys runs in Google Chrome on your computer and works only on tradingview.com.

• It keeps its settings, its on/off state and the result of its keyboard check in Chrome's storage on your computer.
• It reads your Trading Precision keyboard's key setup only after you allow it in Chrome's device window, and changes the keys only when you click Set up keyboard.
• When you press a key, it reads and clicks TradingView's own buttons and order panel on your computer. It never collects or sends your TradingView account, positions, orders or other trading data.
• It contacts only our server, to fetch updated button locations and the latest version number. Like any web request, these carry your IP address and browser details. They contain nothing that identifies you, are not linked to your orders or account, and use no cookies or tracking.
• Removing TP Keys from Chrome deletes everything it stored.

TP Control Panel for MetaTrader 5

The panel runs inside MetaTrader 5 on your computer. It reads your keyboard's key presses there and saves its settings on your computer. It does not send any data to us or anyone else.

Keyboard setup page

The setup page on our website talks to your keyboard directly in your browser to read and save its keys and lighting. Your keyboard's settings are not sent to us. The page remembers in your browser whether you finished the setup.

Service providers

For the above we use Cloudflare, Inc. (the download service) and GitHub, Inc. (file storage), both in the United States. Transfers to them are covered by the International Transfers section of our Privacy Policy.
